As Spartan Controls designed their new facility, they knew they were the Leader in Oilfield Process Control, but not HVAC, and contacted NMS to engineer and install a fully integrated management system for their facility.
To best manage the facility on a day to day basis this project:
- incorporated a multi workstation Vista server network that monitors and logs all data from the HVAC, Security, Card Access, and Lighting systems
- features true integration of multi vendor LonMark® certified devices, allowing all aspects of the buildings systems to operate together
In 2009, Spartan Controls engaged ATCO EnergySense to conduct an energy management audit on their facility. The purpose of the audit was to identify cost-effective improvements that reduce energy consumption. Thanks to the work done by NMS to service their facility Spartan Controls won the ATCO Clean Air award.
